A feeding tube was needed to keep this boy healthy.

Oliver spent his first Christmas in the hospital...

Oliver's life, saved.   A breathing tube was given to him to keep him alive.  To give him more time to spend with us who loved him so much.
 
2005
The new year was here and Oliver was still with us.  Amazing.

Saginaw, MI Beloved son, grandson, great-grandson, nephew and cousin earned his wings Sunday, July 16, 2006 at his home. Age 2 years. Oliver was born May 16, 2004 in Saginaw. Surviving are his mother, Megan O’Brien; grandparents Vicki and Neal O’Brien, Denise Griffor and Tom George, Julie and Tim Crawford and Jon and Cindy Sheathelm; great-grandmother Beverly McFarland; great-grandparents Roger and Sue Lakies; uncle Travis Griffor; uncle Evan O’Brien and aunt Sara Elliott and their son Aiden; many other loving relatives and friends. Oliver’s family extends their gratitude to his many nurses, caregivers and friends, especially Amanda Jewell and Kim O’Dette, for their devoted kindness and care. Funeral service will take place 12:00 noon Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Bridgeport Community Church, 3815 State Street, Bridgeport. Pastor Tim Bender will officiate. Friends may call at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and then at the church from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Mott Children’s Hospital.

Cousin Trace Anthony O'Brien born.  Trace was born with a heart defect and life flighted to Ann Arbor Michigan the day he was born.  He has surgery within days and is still recovering.  Many memories came rushing back for Oliver's family and prayers were poored all over Trace for a speedy recovery and a long, healthy life.

And God said, My Son is by my side and
Your Son is in my arms!!
